COMET - LINETHROWER 250 REPLACEMENT ROCKET 

A SOLAS & USCG approved rocket replacement to suit the Linethrower 250. SOLAS typically requires that 4 Linethrowing appliances are carried by ships.

When Should I Use This Piece of Equipment?

Used to pass a line from ship to ship, ship to shore or by rescue services. Can be used to pass a line to a swimmer in difficulties or across rivers or ravines. Stowed in lockers on Ships Bridge or strategically positioned around vessel.

 

NOTE: Never fire rocket without a drag line attached.

Storage & Disposal 

  • Store in the robust, easily accessed location at ambient temperature.
  • Hazardous Item - Dispose of responsibly through approved channels in accordance with local regulations.
