The Daniamant L163 Lifebuoy Light – Part No. 62-004A is a compact, intrinsically safe lifebuoy light for marine and offshore use. It is the only USCG-approved intrinsically safe lifebuoy light with UL913 approval for installation in Class 1 hazardous locations (Groups A, B, C & D, ANSI/UL1196). The L163 is SOLAS/MED, ATEX, IECEx, and USCG approved, meeting international compliance requirements. The lifebuoy light delivers a minimum 2 candela output and exceeds IMO SOLAS regulations of 2 hours by providing a 15-hour flashing LED duration for man overboard (MOB) emergencies. It has a 5-year storage life, is exempt from Class 9 transport requirements, and features a lightweight, compact design for easy installation on all lifebuoys.
