Hart Decontamination Shelter

The I.C. Brindle HART Decontamination Shelter is a lightweight, compact inflatable shelter designed for Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART) working in high-risk incidents involving chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear materials. Designed specifically with HART teams in mind, this shelter supports rapid response in hazardous environments providing a reliable, efficient decontamination solution that fits the tight spaces and urgent timelines typical of HART operations.

Built for fast deployment and easy transport, this shelter has no outer canvas, which cuts down on weight and packed size, often required where strict capacity limits are required. This makes it ideal for tight spaces like ambulances, triage areas, or urban response units. Without the outer canvas, the inner PVC decontamination chamber can be quickly unclipped and replaced if damaged, keeping the shelter ready to use.

Ready to go straight out of the box, the HART shelter offers a reliable, space-saving solution for rapid response teams who need effective setups in tough conditions. Despite its small size, it replaces older frame-based shower systems with a strong, self-erecting design that inflates in minutes using 12V, 110V, or 230V pumps—ideal for paramedics in time-sensitive, limited-space situations.

Key features include an external frame without a heavy canvas, single rolling doors, transfer pockets, chevron safety markings, and vents for safety and privacy. The shelter is lightweight and easy to carry, and comes with essentials like a high-pressure hose, colour-coded signs, room dividers, and a repair kit.

Optional extras such as heating, lighting, and custom branding are available to suit different emergency needs.
