Individual Isolation Unit

The I.C. Brindle Rapid Deployment Individual Isolation Unit is a ‘ready to go’ portable medical isolation unit (PMIU) designed for quick and reliable use in emergency patient isolation scenarios. Lightweight, portable, and space-efficient, this single-occupancy unit creates a controlled environment for isolating patients exposed to contagious or infectious diseases. It can also be incorporated with a negative pressure system for enhanced containment.

The unit is a fully sealed, one-piece structure with gas-tight welded seams, self-closing entryways, airtight floors, ceilings, walls, and windows to maintain complete isolation—with a removable inner isolation cell allows for replacement if compromised.

The isolation unit inflates rapidly without mechanical parts and remains secure without continuous airflow. High and low anchor points ensure a firm hold, while integrated vehicle flaps allow for additional stability on hard surfaces.

Constructed from wipe-clean, UV-stable, chemical-resistant, flame-retardant, and waterproof materials, the unit ensures durability and hygiene. Clear PVC windows with privacy covers and ventilation openings provide airflow while maintaining patient confidentiality. A white PVC ceiling enhances internal brightness for better visibility.

Each unit includes repair and anchor kits, inflation tools, and built-in support frames. Custom branding is available upon request.
