The cabinet is designed to store 4-5 sets of Fire fighter’s gear including SCBA and spare cylinders with the uniforms stored on hangers. The extra space of the 750mm deep version helps to achieve a more orderly layout but it can be used for five complete sets if space is restricted. They are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.

The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door apertures. The hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. The interlocking doors are secured with 316 stainless steel 3 way locking fitted with a single handle to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves.
