The Fibrelight Crane Stretcher and Fibrelight Pole Stretcher are man overboard recovery systems designed for rapid, safe and controlled casualty retrieval from the water. Both systems are developed for commercial and professional marine operations where fast deployment, stability and effective casualty support are critical in emergency rescue situations.

The Fibrelight Crane Stretcher provides a horizontal recovery solution for use with a vessel’s crane or davit system, maintaining the casualty in a fully supported position throughout the lift. This helps reduce the risk of circum-rescue collapse and provides a safer recovery method for exhausted, hypothermic or injured casualties requiring immediate medical attention.

The Fibrelight Pole Stretcher is an ultralight flotation-based water rescue stretcher designed for rapid deployment in man overboard emergencies. It provides essential buoyancy, stability and spinal support during in-water recovery, allowing rescuers to stabilise and immobilise a casualty quickly with minimal training required.

Both systems are particularly effective on high-sided vessels where direct recovery using ladders or sling-only methods can be difficult or unsafe. Their open, supportive designs allow crew to guide, secure and stabilise the casualty before completing a controlled transfer either into the vessel or via crane recovery.

Designed for real-world emergency use, both Fibrelight systems can also be used alongside other man overboard recovery equipment such as rescue slings and recovery poles, giving crews flexible options to safely position and recover casualties in a range of offshore and marine environments.
