Fibrelight MOB Rescue Cradles - Overboard Incident Cradle - MOB Retrieval Net - Overboard Emergency Solution

The Fibrelight MOB Recovery Cradle is a highly versatile and efficient man overboard (MOB) recovery device, accepted by the MCA (UK Flag) for use on all vessel types. SOLAS-approved, it is designed to provide reliable and robust performance in emergency situations. Its lightweight and compact design make it easier to handle and stow than comparable devices, while its versatility ensures it meets a wide range of rescue requirements.

This cradle can be operated by a single crew member, enabling quick and efficient recovery of MOB casualties. Its multi-functional design allows it to be used as a recovery cradle, boarding ladder, scramble net, or stretcher, offering exceptional adaptability in various emergency scenarios.

Constructed with durability in mind, the Fibrelight Cradle has no components that corrode or degrade in seawater, making it ideal for long-term use in demanding marine environments. It requires minimal maintenance, with only routine inspections and servicing every three years, which can be performed on board the vessel.

How Does the MOB Cradle Function?

This MOB (Man Overboard) Fibrelight Cradles preforms a Man Overboard Recovery through one end of the cradle being secured to a craft, with the outboard being held away from the boat by hand or hook. The MOB casualty is guided into the Cradle — once secured in the outboard end, the casualty is hauled or 'parbuckled' up rung by rung. This parbuckling action allows a safe recovery of the MOB on-board the craft, in the medically preferred horizontal position for medical assistance where needed. Lighter, more compact, and more adaptable than comparable devices, the Fibrelight MOB Recovery Cradle is an indispensable piece of safety equipment for any vessel.
