Owner Sean Magee is a Mountain Leader and Climbing Instructor committed to giving clients safe, realistic, and engaging outdoor experiences. To help deliver top-quality training, Sean turned to I.C. Brindle for a Ruth Lee manikin, affectionately known as “Dave.”

Dave is part of the Ruth Lee range of manikins, which are designed for scenario training. Sean chose the 50kg model:

"I feel that is heavy enough to portray an adult but light enough for me to transport. The weight is thoughtfully distributed around the body and limbs to really give it a real feel when it comes to moving an unconscious casualty."

Dave’s durable design makes him suitable for a variety of scenarios, including evacuation chair training, first aid practice, and ligature or rescue exercises. He’s also easy to carry, which means that outdoor locations can be used safely while maintaining the realism of the exercise.
