The Vetter Inflatable Safety Jump Cushions SP16, SP25, and SP60, supplied by I.C. Brindle & Co Ltd, are designed for fast-response rescue of casualties at height, particularly where space is restricted or building fronts are inaccessible to aerial ladders. These safety cushions are immediately on hand in an emergency and can be deployed quickly, even in courtyards, rear access areas, or other difficult locations.
Each cushion features a robust inflatable frame with dual chambers that temporarily deform on impact, absorbing the force of the landing and quickly recovering its shape for immediate reuse. Available in three sizes—SP16 for jumps up to 16 m, SP25 for jumps up to 25 m, and SP60 for jumps up to 60 m—they offer versatile solutions for a wide range of rescue scenarios, including the safe recovery of trapped rescue teams.
High-visibility neon yellow side walls ensure the cushions are clearly visible at night, in poor weather, or when visibility is limited. The central blue landing area, optimised in collaboration with certified psychologist Professor Horst Schuh, reduces the fear of jumping, creating a clear, marked target for jumpers. Vetter cushions are independently tested and approved according to DIN 14151-3 by a Berlin institute, undergoing extensive drop tests with different weights, positions, and special crash tests to measure impact deceleration. These tests ensure jumpers do not hit the surface too hard, bounce out, or penetrate through to the ground, while also protecting on-site rescue teams.
Designed for rapid setup and easy transport, SP16 and SP25 cushions are inflated via 6 L/300 bar cylinders, while the SP60 can also be deployed using blowers. With their proven performance and safety features, Vetter inflatable safety cushions provide emergency services, fire brigades, and specialist rescue teams worldwide with a highly effective and reliable height rescue solution.
