Available with service lives of 30, 48, or 72 months, These HRUs are approved to the latest MED and SOLAS standards, with additional certifications including Ships Wheel, USCG, and Transport Canada. Made from stainless steel and UV-resistant plastic. Suited to harsh marine environments and supporting life rafts up to 1,500kg—independent of raft buoyancy, all components that make up these HRUs are non-toxic and recyclable.

The Thanner DK2010 - 85-150 has a 6 year service free lifespan after installation. This hydrostatic release unit is a SOLAS approved HRU with a submeged release depth of 1.4m-4m. It is also available as a DK2011 version, which offers a quick release. Custom versions with alternative release depths are available on request.
