The Jotron Tron AIS TR-8000 MkII is an AIS Class A Automatic Identification System for commercial vessels and inland waterways. It automatically exchanges vessel information, including identity, position, course and speed, to support safer navigation and vessel tracking.

The system features a separate transponder and 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen display, with integrated GPS and a compact design for simple installation and retrofit. It complies with IEC 61993-2:2018 AIS Class A and BAM IEC 62923 requirements and is FCC, MED and MER compliant.

The Jotron Tron AIS TR-8000 MkII is an AIS Class A Automatic Identification System for commercial vessels and inland waterway applications. It automatically sends and receives important vessel information, including vessel identity, position, course and speed, helping crews monitor nearby AIS-equipped vessels and improve navigation and safety.

The system meets the latest AIS Class A standard, IEC 61993-2:2018, and complies with Bridge Alert Management (BAM) requirements under IEC 62923-1 and IEC 62923-2:2018. It is approved for use on inland waterways and is suitable for both new installations and replacing existing AIS systems.

The TR-8000 MkII has a separate transponder unit and 7-inch display unit. The high-resolution touchscreen provides clear access to AIS and navigation information, while the IP54-rated display is designed for use in marine environments.

Installation is made simple with compact components and connections located inside the transponder unit. The system also includes a GPS antenna, mounting equipment, power cable and 5 m waterproof RJ45 cable as standard.

The Jotron Tron AIS TR-8000 MkII is FCC, MED and MER compliant and approved by ANATEL. A VHF antenna and pilot cable for the TR-8000 display are available separately.
