Lifting Strop Extension - Load Test Certified
Lifting strop extension available in bespoke lengths, eliminates the need for heavy dangerous lifting chains.
LIFTING STROP EXTENSION
PROVIDED WITH LOAD TEST CERTIFICATION
This lifting strop extension was designed in conjunction with one of the UK's leading ports, it enables safe recovery of a casualty by replacing the need to connect a recovery strop or safety system to a heavy and dangerous chain. The lifting extension is made from a hi-vis orange webbing. To increase visibility further the webbing has SOLAS approved retro reflective tape sewn into 3 sections.
On one end of the webbing is a heavy duty swivel to prevent entanglement and also a screw gate carabiner for additional security and quick connection to the recovery strop in an emergency situation, On the other end is also a heavy duty swivel and a master link which is available in 2 sizes in the drop down menu depending on your method of recovery (crane etc).
Each lifting arrangement is provided with an individual serial number and load test certification to an SWL of 150kg. Our standard extension length is 3.5mtrs but specific lengths can be manufactured *upon request*
