Transmitting data through international AIS channels (AIS A and AIS B) in the maritime VHF band, this GMDSS-compliant device ensures effective search and rescue operations. It is "Wheel Marked" in compliance with European Council Directive 96/98/EC and the latest Commission Directive 2011/75/EU (7th amendment).

"Wheel Marked" in accordance with European Council Directive 96/98/EC and Commission Directive 2011/75/EU (7th amendment), the Tron AIS-SART, along with Tron SART20, offers ship owners the freedom to choose between them as search and rescue locating devices, complying with IMO SOLAS Amendment in Resolution MSC.256(84) and SOLAS Chapter III, Regulation 2.2.
