8mm Orange polypropylene floating line. Available in 250m or 500m coils. Functioning as a retrieval aid to pull a casualty to safety when attached to SOLAS lifebuoy and life rings. Excellent, high quality polypropylene rope that floats in the water. Well known for it's strength and flexability, this rope is constructed with durability in mind! Making this buoyant rope floating line ideal for outside stowage, maritime and waterway usage / applications.

  • Our 8mm orange polypropylene line is a 3-strand twisted synthetic rope that is very strong and buoyant!
  • It is resistant to acids and alkalis making it a very versatile rope that can be used for almost anything!
  • The breaking strain is approx 960Kg. 
  • Available in a 30m length with clip as a lifebuoy retrievel aid, or by the 250m or 500m Coil.
  • Orange colour floating line rope for high visibility in water
  • Very resistant to absorbing moisture
  • Good chemical resistance over a wide range of bases and acids
