It conforms closely to the patient’s body, helping stabilise and secure the casualty during recovery, extraction and transport, reducing movement and improving control in difficult conditions.

Lightweight and foldable, it is easy to carry, deploy and store, making it ideal for restricted access areas such as mines, shafts, industrial sites and technical rescue environments. The 'Total' is compatible with ground-based hoisting systems using a dedicated harness for safe vertical evacuation when manual transport is not possible. Multiple carry handles also support four or eight-person transport depending on the situation.

After use, this Spencer recovery stretcher folds into a compact carry bag for efficient storage and rapid redeployment. Built from durable polyethylene with nylon Ripstop and aluminium components, it is designed for repeated use in demanding emergency operations.
