Jason's Cradle Military Rescue Stretcher - SOLAS Approved Recovery Stretcher for High-Sided Vessels

The Jason's Cradle Military Rescue Stretcher provides a controlled method of recovering personnel from the water in a horizontal or near-horizontal position*. It is designed for military, defence and specialist rescue operations where personnel may be unable to assist with their own recovery, or where high freeboard makes direct recovery difficult.

The horizontal recovery position provides continuous support to the casualty during lifting and transfer back to the vessel. This can be useful when recovering an unconscious, injured, immobilised or hypothermic person.

The stretcher is designed to provide a two-person lifting advantage during recovery, helping the crew to secure and support the casualty. Its design also allows a rescue swimmer to be recovered alongside the casualty where required, helping return both personnel to the vessel during the same recovery operation.

The Military Rescue Stretcher is supplied in a military colour finish and is suitable for use with a suitable deck crane or davit on military, defence and other specialist vessels.

*Horizontal recovery helps maintain more stable circulation during and after rescue, reducing the risk of deterioration following immersion.
