Jason's Cradle Man Overboard Recovery Stretcher SOLAS Approved MOB Rescue for High-Sided Vessels

The Jason's Cradle Rescue & Recovery Stretcher provides a controlled method of recovering a casualty from the water in a horizontal or near-horizontal position*. It is designed for use where a casualty may be unable to assist with their own recovery, or where the vessel's freeboard makes direct recovery difficult, such as from a high-sided vessel.

The horizontal recovery position provides continuous support to the casualty during lifting and transfer back to the vessel. This can be particularly useful when recovering an unconscious, injured, immobilised or hypothermic person.

The Recovery Stretcher is designed to provide a two-person lifting advantage during recovery, helping the crew to secure and support the casualty. Used with suitable davit or deck crane equipment, the Jason's Cradle Recovery Stretcher provides a practical recovery solution for commercial, military and other vessels where careful and controlled casualty recovery from the water is required.

Horizontal MOB recovery systems such as the Jason's Cradle Recovery Stretcher support the casualty in a horizontal or near-horizontal position during recovery. This can also support assessment and treatment once the casualty has been brought safely back on deck to be seen by medical staff or crew.

*Horizontal recovery helps maintain more stable circulation during and after rescue, reducing the risk of deterioration following immersion.
