The SB Rescue Sling Matesaver is a globally approved man overboard (MOB) recovery system, certified by MCA and SOLAS authorities. Designed for quick and safe retrievals, it allows rescuers to save casualties without entering the water. Making this matesaver MOB system ideal for use from boats, steep-sided canals, lakes, or anywhere distance recovery is crucial.
The system includes a telescopic handle that extends from 2.1 metres to 5.2 metres. Weighing only 3 kg, the man overboard equipment is lightweight, portable, easy to store, and simple to operate by one person—it's compact size also makes it easy to stow on board a vessel and reduces transport costs.
The SB Rescue Sling Matesaver can be paired with a Recovery Cradle, SB Rescue Davit, or Block & Tackle. This range of applications makes it a popular choice among shipbuilders, tugboat operators, and commercial fishermen. CE certified, the system includes instructional booklets in English and Traditional Chinese. We recommend regular visual inspections, which any competent staff member can perform with minimal cost.
