This Fibrelight Cradle is a versitile Man Overboard Recovery Device used for recovering MOB casualties from the water into a range of different vessel types and sizes.
How Does the MOB Cradle Function?
This MOB (Man Overboard) Fibrelight Cradles preforms a Man Overboard Recovery through one end of the cradle being secured to a craft, with the outboard being held away from the boat by hand or hook. The MOB casualty is guided into the Cradle — once secured in the outboard end, the casualty is hauled or 'parbuckled' up rung by rung. This parbuckling action allows a safe recovery of the MOB on-board the craft, in the medically preferred horizontal position for medical assistance where needed.
