This UK Workboat Code 2 Training Manual simplifies the process of preparing training documents and meets the requirements of the UK MCA's Workboat Code for small workboats and pilot boats.
This manual ensures compliance with the updated Workboat Code, replacing the previous Brown Code and Small Commercial Vessels and Pilot Boats Code of Practice. It provides essential guidance for the safe operation of vessels under 24m or less than 150 GRT (built before July 1968), such as windfarm vessels, tenders, and fishing vessels.
Key areas covered include Life-Saving Appliances (LSA), Man Overboard (MOB) Recovery, Abandonment Procedures, Survival Techniques, and Search and Rescue Operations. Operators can input specific vessel details, ensuring the manual is tailored to meet both regulatory standards and vessel-specific needs.
